What is an excess?

An excess is the first part of the claim that you are responsible for paying. Should you need to lodge a claim, providing the claim is covered the excess will be deducted from any settlement due to you.

How long will the claim' settlement take once my claim is submitted?

Providing we have received all the required documentation, claims are finalised within 5 – 10 working days.

Do you require the original documents to support my claim?

When we request the original documentation, we mean a copy of the documents that have not been amended in any way. We would only request the original documents if the copy we have been provided is unclear or illegible. If you are unable to make a copy of the documents, you can send the originals to us, if you request, we will make a copy for our file and post the originals back to you.
